The Deuce… the Double Decker buses you see going up and down The Strip were first introduced as an inexpensive alternative to taxi cabs and monorails in 2007 and have grown to over 80 buses since then. On November 7, 2010, it was rebranded to be known as the Strip and Downtown Express (SDX). Back then the fare debuted at $2 but has since gone up to $6 for 2 hours and $8 for 24 hours.
Getting Around Las Vegas
When ever I have conversation with friends coming into Vegas, especially visitors from the East Coast, I have a bunch of warnings for them when taking taxi cabs. The first thing you really need to grasp is that taxi cab drivers are driving to make money… not do you a favor. So don’t expect them to “do you a favor” because they won’t.
